Something in me wants the new Mac Pro because I’ll be more or less sure it will handle everything I need (although I started having my doubts with the entry model), while something else in me thinks it might be smarter to go for the best iMac at the moment, because at the same time I’d also like to finish some of my “master works” for once. They have approximately the same amount of tracks/plugins if not more because they crash, but the point is they’re not even nearly finished so there would probably still be lots to come. I have other tracks I’ve been working on for years, here and there, but never finished them.

The sample rate of the project is 44,1 kHz.īut like I said, this was a rather “simple” project and - very important - the track was finished. The software instruments I used the most were: A.N.A Synth, Nexus 2 The effect plugins I used the most were: FabFilter Pro-Q, FabFilter Pro-C, FabFilter Saturn, FabFilter Volcano, Altiverb 7, Logic Gain plugin, Logic Echo plugin, FabFilter Timeless 2, Vengeance Multiband Compressor. My Mac never had problems with handling this project, and it looks like this:

I finished a track not so long ago, a rather “simple” one I’d say. Perhaps it landed in the spam folder or perhaps I was just busy considering it was a day before christmasĪnyway: It’s hard to say what I’ll be doing, because I’ll probably be doing stuff my current Mac can’t handle. Don’t know why I never responded to this, apparently sometimes I miss some messages although I’ve signed up to be notified on replies.
